
We run both Pilates and Fitness Pilates in 3 venues…. Witney, Wootton and Oxford. Pilates is an exercise method designed to elongate, strengthen and restore the body to balance. It has a holistic approach and Pilates can be beneficial for just about everyone, regardless of age or level of fitness. We can modify exercises to accomodate people … for instance if you are unable to get to the floor we can do exercises sat on a chair.
Fitness Pilates works along a similar structure but works the body as a kinetic chain. Posture, core strength and muscle imbalances are the main concerns. Fitness Pilates is not suitable during pregnancy or for remedial.
You really should give it a try. The feedback we get from people now doing these classes and no longer having back problems, muscle aches, joint issues … really are amazing.
